I got an email saying that Disney Visa holders get free quick service dining for my dates and I do have a Disney Visa debit card, but I have been paying for my trip with a different card. Can I still use the discount?

Hey there, hi there, ho there Sharon! You're as welcome at planDisney as can be! Happy you've swung by with another question for us today.... we love helping guests like ourselves plan for some magical memories.

How exciting to learn that Disney Rewards Visa cardholders are being offered this fantastic free dining deal at Walt Disney World! I've scoped out the details on their website for this special offer in your behalf. I also have previous experience using one of Disney Visa's "limited-time offers" for a Disney World vacation in the past, so I can share what I've learned thus far.

In my experience, when booking one of these special offers using my Disney Rewards Visa it was sufficient to use my card to make the required down payment on our vacation package. The webpage for this current Cardmember Delicious Deal also states in the fine print "Must use a valid Disney Visa Card or Disney Rewards Redemption Card to pay the deposit." Because you'll need to call to make this reservation, I'm sure they can clarify for you at that time. But it's looking like you  will only need to use your Disney Visa for that $200 initial reservation deposit (prices subject to change). And then you can use a different form of payment later on, to pay your remaining vacation package balance. It's easy and convenient to make payments of any frequency and amount by logging in to My Disney Experience, and finding your reservation under "My Plans".

I love using quick-service dining for the flexibility of eating whenever it's convenient for my family. Be sure to try out Mobile Food Ordering too, it's very slick and can save you time by skipping the busy stand-by lunch line. I like to log on when we start getting hungry, sometimes while in a ride queue, and select a pickup time of 30-45 minutes later.

Just one quick-service dining recommendation before I go... my son and I had such a scrumptious meal at Hollywood Studios Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. We tried the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip and Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread, and both were exceptionally good!

Sending you pixie dust for a wonderful Disney trip! Please visit me again at planDisney if I can help with any other tips or ideas.

    Bon Appetit!
    Tami
