how do I e-mail a family member to invite them to link to me?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Mary.

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney! With only two months left to go until your magical vacation begins, you must be bursting with pure joy and utter excitement. You're going to Walt Disney World Resort, and you'll be there during The World's Most Magical Celebration! Is there anything better?

Linking your account with a family member's is easy to do in your My Disney Experience account from a browser or in the mobile app. If you have any trouble after following the steps below, your best bet is to call the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience and MagicBands line at 407-939-4357 for further assistance.

    • Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select "My Profile" from the list of options that appear on screen. Click on "Show My Linking Code." This will generate a unique QR code that your family members can scan with their own smart device to quickly connect to your account.
    • Sign in to your My Disney Experience account on a browser and access your Family & Friends list. Scroll to the bottom of your list and click where it says "Add a Guest." Three options will appear that allow you to add someone to your list - through your connected Guests, from a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, or by entering their name and age. Choose one of these options, then walk through the remaining steps to invite them to plan together. They will have to accept your invitation to plan together through their email once they receive it. Using their Resort hotel confirmation number will likely be the most foolproof method since their reservation is linked directly linked to them.
Now that you know how to link everyone together for planning, let's talk about all the fun you'll be having! Be sure to add the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival to your plans if you haven't already. This annual event celebrates all things springtime with topiaries of Disney characters, lush gardens to explore, a mesmerizing butterfly house, a concert series, and more. There are Outdoor Kitchens featuring fresh, vibrant, flavorful sips and eats to savor. Grab my personal favorite Festival treat, a Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at the Pineapple Promenade, and merrily stroll around World Showcase and admire the beauty of EPCOT in full bloom.

Mary, I hope this information helps. Please stop by planDisney again soon. We are all EARs and happy to help! Enjoy your magical vacation!

Tomorrow is just a dream away,
