Sam from AK Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is there an email address or some other way to request special tours or experiences? My 8 year old daughter literally wants to be a DAK veterinarian when she grows up and I was hoping there was some way I could arrange a meet-up on our first DW trip. Thx!

Hello there, Sam, and welcome to the wonderful world of planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

It looks as though you are just a few short weeks away from your very first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You and your family are in for some major adventure so be prepared to make some treasured memories during your upcoming stay!

I’m particularly excited about all of the offerings and attractions your daughter will have the opportunity to experience! As a fellow animal lover, I have numerous recommendations for potential attractions and add-ons that will be “must-dos” for your family!

First and foremost, I highly recommend getting acquainted with all of the offerings available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Some of the best attractions for viewing animals while also learning interesting details will be Kilimanjaro Safaris, Maharajah Jungle Trek, and the Conservation Station. Each of these attractions offers different perspectives of all the animals that call Disney’s Animal Kingdom home and have helpful Cast Members to answer any questions you may have about the inhabitants!

Unfortunately, many of the special events and tours typically offered are not available during the initial reopening stages at Walt Disney World Resort. While there may not be any specific tours or experiences taking place, I may have some potential alternatives that will still be fun for your daughter! Once you’ve completed your tour of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, head on over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for another level of in-depth animal experiences! There are many different viewing areas to take in the more than 30 species of African wildlife that live at this Disney Resort hotel. This is a great way to continue your animal experiences since the viewing spaces are less crowded and a bit closer than some of the enclosures at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This has also been the best area to chat with animal specialists, in my experience! My own family has spent many hours simply talking about our love of animals with the wonderful Cast Members at this resort and I am positive that they would love to chat with your daughter as well!

I hope this information assists you in planning a wild time for your daughter during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
