are there elevators in each building in French Quarter? My mother in law is not able to climb stairs well and if we are unable to get a first floor room, we want to make sure she does not have to climb stair all week.

Hi, Kelly!  You will be happy to know that each of the buildings at Port Orleans French Quarter does have an elevator, so your mother-in-law will not have to worry about climbing stairs!

You've picked a great resort, especially for someone who may be concerned about mobility issues.  I think this is the most intimate of the resorts, and from just about any location, it seems a very short walk to anything you need.

You can request a location close to the elevators to minimize even further the amount of walking your mother-in-law will have to do.  They can't guarantee the requests, but every effort will be made to accommodate you.

    Have a great vacation!
