Hiya Diana,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are always so excited when Guests like you come back and visit us.
I completely understand wanting to keep your food at an ideal temperature, Diana. When I was nursing, I was constantly concerned about storing my milk for my babies, since the beverage cooler isn't designed for that. I see where the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules do not explicitly state that electric plug-in coolers are not permitted in
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort (or other resort hotel rooms); however, I spoke with a Cast Member and confirmed that, for safety reasons, currently Guests are not permitted to bring personal electric cooling appliances, extra refrigerators, hot plates, or microwaves. This means you will not be able to bring your electric plug-in cooler.
I wish I had better news, Diana, but I hope this was still helpful. I know you will be visiting us soon, so you may not be able to reserve a family suite or villa with a full-size refrigerator at this point. But I did want to share that if you really need a refrigerator to keep something like medication cold, you can typically request to store that in the main resort hotel refrigerator via the front desk. As long as it is labeled, Cast Members can typically store it. The Cast Member I spoke to said they likely wouldn’t be able to do that for food, however, so keep that in mind. Before I let you go, all this talk about food has me thinking about
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. I just stopped by the other day, and the options this year are so good. I hope you have saved space in your itinerary to check that out. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
