Hi, my eldest daughter wants to ride the three caballeros In Epcot, but my youngest is scared of skeletons and worried that there may be some on the ride as it’s in Mexico. Can you tell me either way? Thanks

    Ka-chow, Karen.

Welcome to planDisney! In less than three weeks, you’ll be walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. with the splendor of Cinderella Castle in your view, a Mickey Pretzel in hand, and the sound of The Dapper Dans singing in the background. I bet you can’t wait to be immersed in the magic at Walt Disney World Resort!

I’m glad you are planning on adding Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros to your plans at EPCOT. It’s a bright, colorful, fun tour through Mexico. Karen, there are four skeletons in this attraction. The boat starts by taking you through some ancient temples. As you leave the temple rooms, about a minute into the ride, you enter a village where a fiesta is taking place. The boat will go under an archway with a banner that says “Fiesta Hoy” on it. Right above the banner are four skeletons playing instruments. You can see the banner as you turn the corner into the room, but it takes a few seconds for the skeletons to come into view since they are up so high. Perhaps you can have your younger daughter close her eyes as you leave the temple rooms until you pass under the archway. If that would be too frightening for her, you could have one adult wait behind with your younger daughter while another experiences the attraction with your eldest daughter. Then, the adults can switch places. This attraction typically has a low wait, so it would be easy to do this.

While you’re in the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT, be sure to stop by and see Donald Duck in his sombrero. He’s usually to the right of the Aztec pyramid building waiting to meet his fans. You can check his appearance times in the interactive map feature in your My Disney Experience mobile app. Select “Characters” from the drop-down menu in the top-middle of the page, then filter the results by choosing EPCOT from the location options. Click “Show List” and look for Donald Duck in the results list. When you click on his name, it will display the times and locations of his appearances for the day.

Karen, I hope this information helps. If you think of anything else we can help you with, please stop by planDisney again. Enjoy your trip!

    You are the magic,
