Hi Elaine, are there any updates on the 2024 Food & Wine Festival dates at EPCOT? I recall it began at the end of July last year, but in previous years, it started in mid-July. I'm wishing on stars that it starts earlier this year!

It's so good to hear from you, Christina! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I'm excited about your summertime Walt Disney World Resort visit; it's so magical when pals from across the country come to hug Mickey. Let's put on our Great Mouse Detective caps to see what we can deduce about the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.

I did some snooping about this fabulous festival, and did you know it only lasted a month in its inaugural year back in 1996? That wouldn't give me time to sample half the snacks! I'm so glad it lasts longer now.

You're correct that it started a little later in July last year. The festival began mid-July the previous two years, so let's hope the later start date isn't the new trend. I chatted with a deductive Cast Member who said we're still waiting for 2024 news, and he recommended keeping an eye on the festival landing page for announcements.

After a little online searching, I found that for the past few years, dates for Food & Wine dropped in the spring, so I suggest keeping a close watch on the website starting in April. Following the Disney Parks Instagram account is another fun way to keep track of events, and I love it when the food and entertainment offerings are announced. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is my favorite; I danced off those snacks during the Boyz II Men performance last year!

Christina, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and magnifying glasses so that we can uncover those festival dates soon. Please stop by planDisney anytime! You'll always have pals here who'd love to help.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
