Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon

    Will either Walt Disney World water park be open from October 22-28? We are buying our reservation packages and would like to know so we can plan accordingly.

    Welcome to planDisney! Disney's Water Parks are a great way to relax and find thrills while on a Walt Disney World vacation. It sounds like perfection to me to spend a warm Florida day floating on an inner tube under palm trees on a lazy river finished by an ice cream sundae. Don't you agree?

    At any time Park Hours could change so I suggest you keep an eye out on the Hours & Events Calendar as your trip approaches. Right now there is nothing posted or set up for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for October but most likely it will be open. Its traditional operating hours are 10 AM to 5 PM every day. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently being refurbished and is most likely to remain closed through October 2023. Walt Disney World likes to keep at least one water park open while they refurbish the other so you will find a water park available to you during your visit.

    One of the best parts about visiting a Walt Disney World Water Park is that at this time you do not need a theme park reservation to visit. One less thing to plan! When visiting Typhoon Lagoon make sure to enjoy the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool which is the largest wave pool in North America!
