Hi Erin!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for asking such a great question. Our family are both
Annual Passholders and
Disney Vacation Club Members, and we try to use the fantastic perks as often as we can. We will also be embarking on our first Disney cruise (YAY!!!!) next year, so I am delighted to research for you!
Currently, Disney Vacation Club Members have a
few discounts associated with a cruise. On board, select spa treatments, digital photo packages, and certain purchases of $50 or more receive a discount! There is also a vacation-inspired Member exclusive Celebration. That sounds like a fantastic time to meet your fellow Members and wish each other a Welcome Home!
As I’m sure you know, there are also exclusive
Member-only Cruises. This year there are two - to Bermuda and the Pacific Coast, and next year, the sail to Alaska has already sold out! My husband and I are anxiously awaiting the release of the 2021 itinerary because we plan on setting sail with our fellow Members! If you can’t hop on a Member Cruise, currently Disney Vacation Club Members can save on
select Disney Cruises as well as on certain
Adventures by Disney trips.
Unfortunately, Annual Passholders do not currently have
discounts with booking a Disney Cruise, or onboard. But never fear, that could change as quickly as
Captain Minnie Mouse can say “Ahoy!” Keep an eye out on the
Passholder Discounts page, and if you have a
Disney Visa Card, bring it with you - you get discounts on merchandise onboard.
Erin, I wish you a splash-tastic seafaring adventure!
Rayna
