We will have our eight month old traveling with us this year. Do I include her in our party size for dining reservations?

    Hi Wendy!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I actually learned this the hard way on a trip to Walt Disney World so I'm glad you asked ahead of time!

I would certainly recommend adding them your party size! When we traveled when my little one was 6 months old I did not add him to the reservation so I reserved my dining for a party of 2. When we got to the restaurant though we were seated at one of the small tables that can truly only fit 2 chairs and finding a spot for the high chair was tricky. The Cast Member that walked us to our table quickly realized that my son was awkwardly blocking another table and moved us without me even needing to request it! None the less, it would have been easier to have just booked for 3 in the first place. This way you'll have the correct number of 'seats' at the table so your eight month old has room in their high chair and isn't inches away from Mommy's hot dinner plate!

I hope you and your little Mouseketeer have a wondEARful trip! Please let us know if you have any other questions before your stay.
