Eight days until our Disney Wonder Cruise. Is there a weight limit for luggage on the Disney Wonder and what happens if you are over?

    Ahoy, Pamela!

It is so WONDERful to hEAR from you again! With only eight days to go, you're in the final preparation stage, which means suitcases are starting to fill up with your cruise attire. Your question actually made me smile because I always overpack when we set sail with Captain Mickey. I vow I'm going to pack less, but I can never seem to keep my promise! And fortunately for you and me, there are no weight limits on luggage so pack away, Pamela!

When you unpack in your stateroom, you'll find ample storage in the closet. I like to bring a pop-up hamper for our dirty clothes to place on one side of it. I keep all our empty luggage stored on the bed (even my largest suitcase slides under easily) and as the hamper fills up, I pull out a bag and pack it with the dirty clothes. I find that this helps me tremendously on the last day when I'm trying to get everything ready to place outside our stateroom door by 10:30 p.m. for luggage pick-up. And because I like to bring more than my crew will ever need, I save one bag for clean clothes.

Pamela, I am so glad you cruised over one more time! I hope you enjoy every magical minute of your cruise next week!
