Hi James,
Welcome to planDisney! Escaping to sunny Florida for eight magical days next winter sounds wonderful! You're going to have a BLAST and make memories to cherish for years to come!
I'm happy to share that yes, when you stay in the magic with
Disney Resorts Collection, you have the added benefit of being able to make dining reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 days) when your dining reservation window opens 60 days before your check-in! Pretty sweet, huh? As long as your Disney Resort hotel reservation is
linked to your My Disney Experience account, the system will automagically extend your planning window for the length of your stay, which is a huge benefit when trying to score a hard-to-find reservation!
Want a few more tips? The system will let you book your reservations in any order, so I'd encourage you to make your reservations in their order of difficulty and popularity, rather than by date order. The booking window can open as early as 5:45 AM, but I've usually found that most places open closer to 6:00 AM. I'd be ready to start checking by 5:45 AM with both the
website and the
My Disney Experience mobile app just in case that pesky Stitch tries to interfere with your planning. Checking for
Cinderella's Royal Table first is a great plan, and the further out you check, the better chance you'll have of finding something.
I'm sending pixie dust that you'll be able to find the
perfect dining reservations for your stay! Of course, if you're not able to find exactly what you were looking for, please don't give up! Guests' plans change all the time, and it's possible that something will open up at a later date.
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, James, and please feel free to come see us again if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your visit. I hope you have a truly magical...and
delicious...vacation early next year!
Missy
