What the most efficient way to get from Hollywood Studios to Epcot? How long do you estimate it will it take?

    Hi there, Lisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you stopped by with your question.

When traveling between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot, I determine my method of transportation based on the area of Epcot I'm trying to access. My family usually leaves Disney's Hollywood Studios and heads straight for a dining reservation in the World Showcase at Epcot, so we travel via the "Friendship Boats" or water taxis in order to enter the park via the International Gateway. That being said, the ride can often take up to 30 - 40 minutes since the boats will stop at the Epcot Area Resorts on the way to Epcot. Guests can also walk between both parks, but I would estimate the walk to take up to 25 - 30 minutes depending upon how briskly you walk. If you are trying to enter Epcot through the front entrance, you can use complimentary bus transportation. I would allow approximately 15 - 20 minutes if traveling by bus. However, I believe you will find the Minnie Van Service or other ride-sharing service to be your quickest and most efficient way to travel if you don't mind the added cost. When traveling by car, I would estimate the ride to take around 10 minutes.

I hope this information has been helpful in making the best decision for you, Lisa. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
