EEEK! DH said lets change our vaca and go to WDW!! We're coming on 6/11!!! Got as many ADRs as possible, but NO Le Cellier,Crystal Palce,Ohana's,Chef Mickeys or Teppen Edo-do they ever have cancellations? Do I just keep checking on-line or call? HELP!

Mary, I'm so excited that you are going to Walt Disney World in just a few weeks -- I know you must be too!

All of the restaurants you mentioned are tough reservations to get, even when you're planning months in advance. However, cancellations do happen. I personally canceled 'Ohana and Le Cellier reservations at the last minute during my recent trip as our plans changed.  Be persistent in checking for openings if you really want to dine at these restaurants. You can check online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. If you're flexible about your dining times, you might prefer to call, as the cast member can look to see if there are any openings on all the days of your trip; whereas online you have to manually enter dates and times. Don't stop calling once you get to Disney World; I've had success getting last minute reservations at Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana from my resort room. You can also try walking up to restaurants, as sometimes people don't show up for reservations -- you'll have better success as a walk-up if you go at off-peak times.

You may want to consider a character breakfast at Cape May if you're unable to make reservations at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. Cape May is a great buffet that's generally not as crowded as the others, which gives you much more character interaction! If you aren't able to book a nice dinner at Le Cellier or 'Ohana, consider a meal at Jiko, which is often less crowded than many other restaurants and was the most delicious meal of my trip last week.

Hope you have a magical trip in June, Mary!
