Why hello there, Jaynee! Welcome back to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to
The Most Magical Place on Earth next month! To me, planning for my vacation is almost as much fun as being on vacation. Like my friend Winnie the Pooh, I often have a "rumbly in my tumbly" and deciding where to eat is one of my favorite parts of visiting Walt Disney World Resort!
I'm happy to let you know that YES, you are more than welcome to use a
Disney Gift Card at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at
Disney Springs! I love to bring Disney Gift Cards with me to pay for my meals and snacks because this gives me an all-inclusive feel on my vacation. The best part is that I'm able to purchase some special souvenirs to take home with any money that's left over!
Jaynee, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort! I was lucky enough to dine here with my fellow panelists last December and it was a true highlight of my trip. Be sure to sample the thigh-high chicken biscuits, which were
so good that my friend
Mike had to completely stop speaking so he could savor every bite! After your savory meal, you may also want to grab some irresistibly decadent cookies and a peanut butter cold brew coffee from
Gideon's Bakehouse. Since this stop can be in high demand, my tip would be to stop into Gideon's Bakehouse before your meal just in case you need to get on their waitlist. This would add a sweet ending to a perfect day!
Prior to your trip, you may also want to take some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app. This is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! You'll be able to view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and even
mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
