We will be eating at Cinderella's Royal Table for my 4 yr. old daughter. I'd like to eat somewhere special that my 8 yr. old son would enjoy. Where do you recommend?

Hi, Angie!  There are several dining options that your eight year old son might enjoy.  My nephews always loved going to the Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where you eat in your convertible at a drive in movie, where clips from old movies flash on the screen before you.  Another favorite of my nephews has always been the 60s Prime Time Cafe, also at Disney's Hollywood Studios, where mom and dad are just as likely to get into trouble for elbows on the table as the kids are!

A new favorite of both the boys and girls in my family is T-Rex in Downtown Disney.  If you have ever eaten at the Rainforest Cafe, you'll recognize the feel of this restaurant, but instead of animals from the rainforest, you'll encounter life sized dinosaurs!  Very cool!

My eight year old daughter is telling me to also recommend Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.  The antics here are sure to get a laugh out of your kids, and the food is pretty good, too!

If characters are still his thing, Donald's Safari Breakfast at Disney's Animal Kingdom might be right up his alley.  And Chef Mickey's remains a favorite of all three of my girls, from the 4 year old on up to the 18 year old!  You can't go wrong with a meal with Mickey!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
