If we eat at a signature restaurant can our 3 yr old eat off our plate? If yes, can we use our dining plan or do we have to pay out of pocket? We want to make later reservations, so we will give her a small bite before hand and don't want to waste money.

    Hi Jennifer ,

If your three year old is on the dining plan, then she will have her own meal. If she is not on the dining plan, then she will be able to share your plates.

When dining at any restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resorts, you have the option to use your dining plan credit or pay for the meal out of pocket. Often because of traveling, you can not use all of your dining credits so booking a signature restaurant does not cause you to lose a meal or pay for it out of pocket.

I would look at your overall dining schedule and determine which meal to pay for makes the most sense. This will help you determine to pay for the signature dining experience with cash or use your credits.

    Have a magical vacation!
