Hi! We want to eat at Ohana one night and have heard you can see the fireworks from the beach at the resort. Is anyone allowed on the beach or do you have to be a guest of that specific hotel? What would be a good res time to see fireworks?

    Hey Nicole!

I have great news for you! You do not have to be a guest of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to pull up a beach chair for the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes fireworks. My family does this nearly every time we visit Walt Disney World.

Depending on the time Wishes is scheduled to begin, I would try to get your Advanced Dining Reservation at 'Ohana approximately two hours prior to the show. This will give you about 1 1/2 hours to enjoy your meal.

Make sure to leave a little room for a world-famous Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai in the Polynesian Grand Ceremonial House before heading to the beach approximately 30 before the show is to begin. This should give you plenty of time to grab a beach chair, relax after your amazing feast, and enjoy the Polynesian atmosphere as waves slowly lap onto the shore of the Seven Seas Lagoon while music softly plays in the background.

A QUICK NOTE: If you are one of the lucky few to get a window seat with a view of Cinderella Castle, STAY WHERE YOU ARE. Just as it is on the beach, the music is piped into the restaurant and you will have a front row seat for the magic.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
