Hello there, Christopher! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach back out and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
Regardless of your breakfast choice, you can’t go wrong with either of the classic dining locations you are considering!
‘Ohana at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a fun, family-style feast that is influenced by delicious Polynesian flavors. In addition, Guests also have the opportunity to meet and greet both Lilo and Stitch during their meal! At
Chef Mickey’s in
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you and your family will be invited to an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast as the monorail zooms by overhead. At this dining location, Mickey Mouse and his friends will make surprise appearances throughout your meal and even sign a very special card keepsake for you to take home!
Guests with dining reservations are welcome to
park at the Disney Resort hotel they are dining at for the duration of their meal. This means that you will be unable to park at either of these locations and leave your vehicle there while you visit the
Magic Kingdom, though. However, you are totally welcome to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and ride the monorail to whichever resort you intend on dining at. After your meal, the Magic Kingdom will be a short trip away! Depending on which Disney Resort hotel you dine at, you and your family will be able to take either the monorail, water transportation, or even walk over to the Magic Kingdom. Personally, I love taking water transportation whenever it is available since this allows for a nice, scenic ride before our adventures!
As a reminder,
dining reservations may be made online up to 60 days in advance. Both Chef Mickey’s and ‘Ohana are incredibly popular, so I highly recommend making your breakfast reservations as soon as possible so you can snag the perfect time for your family!
I hope you have a practically perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this year! Be sure to let us know if we can assist you in planning any other part of your vacation!
