Hiya, Natalie.
Welcome to planDisney! Hooray, today marks exactly only ONE MONTH until you’re off on your adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Can you feel the excitement building?
Table-service dining at Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to take a break from all the hustle and bustle in the theme parks and partake in the delicious cuisine a Disney vacation is known for. Unfortunately, to dine at an in-park table-service restaurant, you do indeed need a
dining reservation. I know reservations can be hard to come by at times, so I encourage you to keep checking for dining reservations in your
My Disney Experience mobile app daily leading up to your vacation. Be sure to select every time option on the "Search By Time" feature when you do, because reservations may pop up that weren't there initially.
If your quest to secure a dining reservation is unsuccessful, try utilizing the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability feature in your My Disney Experience mobile app instead. This feature allows you to join the same-day walk-up list at select restaurants on property (subject to availability). To use it, go to the screen to check for dining reservations in your app and click “Now” under the time options. Any restaurants with walk-up availability will pop up with time slots.
Now, some restaurants on property accept walk-ups from time to time. If they do, they will usually post a sign near the entrance with a note about available seating and to see a host or hostess. Keep your eyes peeled in the parks for these since that could open up options for you as well.
Natalie, I hope this information helps. Have a wonderful trip, and say hi to Mickey for me!
See ya real soon,
Alyssa
