Hi Stephanie and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing us your question about strollers and
Walt Disney World Resort transportation.
There are so many things we need to bring with us when we travel with little ones and a stroller is sometimes one of the most important things. When you use bus or tram transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort you are asked to fold or collapse your stroller. My husband has become a pro at doing this in record time!
When traveling on the monorail and bigger boats like the ferry from the ticket and transportation center to the Magic Kingdom Park, you don’t have to collapse your stroller and your mouseketeer can stay in their comfortable seat.
Smaller boats, like the ones you will find when travelling from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds to the Magic Kingdom Park will also require you to fold your stroller. It may seem like a lot to remember, but you can take your cues from the Cast Member assisting guests on and off your mode of transportation.
A good thing to remember is that complimentary transportation starts up 45 minutes before the Disney Theme Park opening time and ends one hour after the Disney Theme Park closing time.
Stephanie, as you continue making your plans for your family, be sure to take a look at the planning tips for
Pre-School Kids and Little Ones. You’ll find lots of great ideas to keep your little ones entertained while enjoying everything the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.
I hope this information has been helpful to you! Please come back to see us again if you have any other questions!
