    I am going on Eastern Carribean cruise on Fantasy in September my Son is all about the beach, I like shopping is there a beach and shopping within walking distance of each other on St Thomas or St Maarten?

    I hope you are ready to embark on the newest member of the Disney fleet, the beautiful and stylish Disney Fantasy!  An absolutely fantastic time awaits you on this state-of-the-art ocean liner! 

    St. Thomas and St. Maarten are both wonderful ports of call to visit!  In St. Maarten, you will be in walking distance or a water taxi ride away from Great Bay Beach.  It is located on Front Street along with plenty of shopping and a variety of restaurants if you work up an appetite on your adventure onshore.  If you decide to use the water taxi, there is a small fee for your round trip ride.

    On St. Thomas, there will be plenty of shopping options at the Pier where the Fantasy will be docked.  Magen's Bay is popular spot for cruisers to enjoy the white sand beaches of the Caribbean while on the island.  It is a taxi or mini-bus ride from the pier, and there is a minimum fee for beach access.
