When do the Easter eggs go on display at the various resorts? Trying to plan a trip and want to be able to see them but also avoid the blackout dates.

    Hi, Catherine!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Spring is one of my favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, especially when there's an opportunity to enjoy some holiday festivities such as the Easter egg displays created by the incredibly talented Walt Disney World Resort pastry chefs. Did you know it takes about three weeks to create these edible works of arts? In 2019, five Resort hotels participated, including Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. I reached out to a Walt Disney World Cast Member, and she informed me that the dates for the annual Easter egg displays have yet to be announced. She did say the hand-decorated eggs were on display about a month before Easter in 2019 (April 21) until April 28. Easter 2020 will be on April 12.
I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information about upcoming events at the Disney Parks.

Catherine, as you plan your 2020 vacation, be sure to schedule time to visit Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. I could spend hours roaming around taking pictures of the exquisite topiaries, colorful flowers, and intricate gardens on display. I'm not a great photographer, but you don't need to be to capture these living works of art!

Thank you for sending in your question, Catherine. I hope you enjoy your magical Spring stay in 2020!
