It’s always a delight when you stop by planDisney with your question, Sai!
I really enjoy collecting Walt Disney World Resort Refillable Mugs! When I use them at home, they bring a little bit of Disney magic to my day! Sai, did you know now there’s an option to upgrade to stainless steel mugs for an additional fee? I’ve got my eye on the
Disney Skyliner design and can’t wait to get it when I return to
The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Sai, all the mug refill stations at the Walt Disney World
Resort hotels have mug wash stations. However, since the mug wash stations do not have soap, I prefer to pack a small sponge, a travel-size plastic bottle with liquid dish detergent, and bring those along during our vacations. I rinse my family’s mugs out every night so they’re fresh and ready to go in the morning.
Although you are unable to refill your mugs in the Theme Parks, you can still bring them. At a
Quick Service Dining location, if you’d like some iced water, they will give it to you in a disposable cup and if you would prefer it, you can transfer the water into your Refillable Mug. If you choose to bring the mugs with you to the Parks, I would suggest bringing a few gallon-sized plastic bags that you can put your empty mugs in so they stay clean. Some people find rinsing their mugs in the restrooms or at the portable handwash stations to be the easiest. However, I prefer to rinse mine at the hydration stations, which you will find around the Theme Parks. These are refillable bottle stations specifically designed to pour into bottles and mugs. They have a drain under it and I just rinse out the mugs there if I need to. You can find these hydration stations at each theme park. There is one at
Magic Kingdom Park at Cosmic Ray's. At
Disney's Hollywood Studios where the restrooms are in Galaxy's Edge, near the exit of Smugglers Run and by the line at Slinky Dog. At
EPCOT, you will find one at the Starbucks in the World Showcase and the other is at the EPCOT Experience. At
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, there is one by the lines of Na’vi River and Avatar Flight of Passage, and Expedition Everest.
Currently, to
ensure Guest and Cast Member safety, a Cast Member will assist in the refilling of drinks at your Resort hotel. Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can purchase the 16-ounce mugs for unlimited fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating locations during their stay. Rather than refilling the mug yourself, the Cast Member who is working the station will scan your mug’s barcode and give you a disposable cup filled with the beverage of your choice to either drink from or pour into your Refillable Mug.
Cheers to staying hydrated and having an enchanting time at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Sai!
