Is it easier to visit Moana in Epcot or Animal Kingdom? Are lines usually shorter at either park for her?

    Hi Jana,

I love a good character meet-and-greet. There is nothing better than watching your kids meet their Disney idols and capturing that magic both on film and in your heart.

I typically find that the line for Meet Moana at Character Landing located on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom is easy to navigate and is also a nice and shady place to wait for your favorite characters. This area is a little bit more hidden in the theme park and tends to be less busy in the mornings when everyone is running to get in line for their must-do attractions.

The Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT is a must-do because it is a fun and interactive experience for fans who want to venture to where the light meets the sky in the sea. The Moana meet-and-greet is right next to this attraction so it tends to be a little bit busier because most fans of the movie are headed here anyways for the new attraction. There is nothing like parting the waters in this experience so I highly recommend getting your camera to capture the magic when your kids discover they possess the same magical powers as Moana!

Make sure that you have downloaded the My Disney Experience app so you can use the map feature to find even more Disney friends. It is a little like wayfinding but much safer! Once you have downloaded the app, click the map button located at the bottom second from the left. Then filter at the top for "Characters". You will get a map or list of all currently available characters to find on your journey.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
