Early 2020 our whole family will be at Disney World. I read about scavenger hunts for the kids. Do you know if there are any scavenger hunts scheduled in early 2020? Thank you. Jenny

    Hello Janeese!

I’m super glad you scouted us out here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and I think you’ll be super happy with the options you have for a scavenger hunt for the kiddos. You didn’t mention when exactly you are visiting, but hopefully, I can map out the first half of the yEAR for you!

Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts will run from January 17th through February 24th this yEAR. The festival focuses on all types of art, including culinary art, animation, and the performing arts. One of my favorite parts of the festival is the photo-ops where you can pose “in” a famous painting! Your kiddos will love how they look sailing across the Delaware with General Washington or perfecting their “scream!”

During the festival, Figment heads a fantastic hunt around Epcot looking for famous works of art. Your kiddos will scour the World Showcase to find the Masters in a unique Figment frame. Once they’ve completed their hunt, they can return their maps for a masterful prize!

If you are visiting during the Spring, the hunt is hosted by Spike (the resident bee) during Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival. The fete runs from March 4th to June 1st (I hope you aren’t visiting the one week where Mickey and friends are taking down one party and setting up the other!) The kiddos will buzz around the World Showcase looking for flowers for Spike to pollinate. It is both super fun and super educational! Once again, when they finish their map, there is a bee-lightful surprise!

Janeese, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. chEARs to a great, big, beautiful hunt!
