    I am in the VERY early stages of planning a Disney World Vacation for 2013. I was wondering what types of Special Events (like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party) take place during other times of the year- especially this coming Spring. Thanks!

    Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Jennifer!  How exciting that you are starting to plan your Walt DIsney World Vacation!  For me, planning a Walt Disney World vacation is almost as much fun as the vacation itself! One of the most popular Special Events that "blooms" every Spring at Walt Disney World is the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. According to the official website for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, this event will take place from March 6, 2013 to May 19, 2013. Follow the link I have provided to learn more about this spectacular annual event featuring educational designer presentations, themed flower and garden displays, beautiful topiary displays, and The Flower Power Concert Series. Each May, Star Wars fans from all over head to Disney's Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends, one of my personal favorite Special Events at Walt Disney World. Star Wars Weekends is traditionally held on the last two weekends in May and the first two weekends in June. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each weekend, you can join celebrities and characters for special shows, panels, presentations and more!
