    We are very early in our planning process to our first trip in October. We have a 2.5 and 5 year old. Looking at travel times between resorts and Magic Kingdom. Which resorts will have the shortest travel time and yet not break the bank?

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about selecting the right Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your October vacation. The Disney Resort hotels with the most direct transportation options tend to be in the Deluxe Resort category, but that doesn't mean that there aren't other excellent options for those of us that place a high value on saving both time and money.

    You mentioned that you are looking for convenient travel to Magic Kingdom Park, so I'd recommend choosing either Disney's Pop Century Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort for your vacation.The buses at these two properties are not shared with other Value Resorts, which means shorter and more direct transportation to the theme parks. Both of these two Disney Resort hotels are also really great for young children, as they feature bright colors and larger-than-life characters and icons.
