How early does the parking lot and Disney ferry boat open? I will be there on Nov 6, park "opens" at 9:00AM.

Hello there, Laura! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and sending over your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

You are only a few short days away from your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so excited to help you with your question right in time for your trip!

Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom with their own vehicle will need to park at the Transportation & Ticket Center. From here, you will be able to take either the Monorail or a Ferry Boat right to the front entrance of the Magic Kingdom. Typically, both of these options begin running approximately 45 to 30 minutes prior to the official park opening time. This means that you would be able to catch a ride to the Magic Kingdom beginning at around 8:15 am to 8:30 am.

Due to the distinct size of the parking area at the Transportation and Ticket Center, I strongly recommend you identify a way of remembering where you are parked! This can be incredibly useful after a long day in the parks with plenty of time for that information to be forgotten. My go-to way of keeping track of this is by taking a picture of the parking lot and number with my phone. This way, I can refer to it at any point if I need to!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time visiting Walt Disney World Resort!
