    When the Early Park Entry for resorts start in October, how will that work? Now if the Magic Kingdom opens at 9 & they are letting all guests into the park and holding them at each land for rope drop. How will resort guests get through early?

    Hi Diana,

    Welcome back to planDisney! I'm thrilled to hear that you have another magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation coming up just around the riverbend! And during the holiday season at that! That's my favorite time of year to visit, and I just know you're going to LOVE it! All of your senses will be in holiday heaven!

    While we know that early theme park entry will kick off on October 1st and allow Guests staying in the magic with Disney Resorts Collection to enter any one of the four theme parks half an hour early every day, we don't have many more details than that at this point. I would assume that the Cast Members would handle admission similarly to how they handled Extra Magic Hours previously, but we'll have to wait and see for sure when the new service begins. With morning Extra Magic Hours, Disney Resort hotel Guests would simply scan their MagicBand or card to show their status as a Disney Resort hotel Guest while any other Guests who had arrived early waited near the front of the parks. It's certainly not out of the question that Disney reimagines this process, though! I know I can't wait to find out during my first Disney Resort hotel stay after the 50th anniversary celebration festivities kick off! I'm looking forward to getting a jump start on our days and enjoying shorter wait times for some of our favorite attractions!
