    How early does the monorail run? We are trying to get to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Considering riding the monorail from Epcot to Contemporary. Epcot has am extra magic hours that day.

    Hi Natilee,

    As with any Disney transportation, the monorail will begin running one hour prior to a park opening as well as one hour after it closes. If there are changes to any transportation, you will be told. The cast members who operate the transpiration around the Walt Disney World Resorts do a good job of keeping guests informed of the transportation schedule.

    You should easily be able to hop on the monorail to the Contemporary Resort. You will need to transfer at the Ticket & Transportation Center to the monorail to the Contemporary.
