You will be able to see
Lightning Lane availability for your trip dates once your Lightning Lane booking window opens. Currently, those staying at the following resorts will get the perk of early access to booking and purchasing Lightning Lane services for their vacation:
All Disney Resort hotelsWalt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve
Shades of Green Resort
The Lightning Lane booking window for those guests will open beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to their check-in date. All other guests will be able to book and purchase Lightning Lanes beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of their ticket if they have date-based tickets.
While you won’t necessarily be able to see Lightning Lane availability ahead of time, you will be able to see the pricing for the different services up to 3 weeks in advance. To see the pricing in advance, open your
My Disney Experience app and click the “Purchase” button under the Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass section or the Lightning Lane Premier Pass section. Right under the calendar on the following page, click “View Pricing by Park.” There, you can switch parks at the top of the page to see pricing for all of the Lightning Lane services in the coming weeks.
Of course, Lightning Lane services are pending availability, so I recommend purchasing as soon as your booking window opens. With that being said, if there isn’t availability for a certain return time or an attraction that you had your heart set on, you can always check back leading up to your trip and on your park day. Sometimes, more availability opens up, in which case you can modify a current Lightning Lane to snag the one you were hoping for.
