Early entry for HS is 830, what time would the bus be at the contemporary. Is there a way to see when the buses are at the hotel. My son has autism so we have a hard time waiting, trying to plan our day so he doesn’t have a meltdown.

    Hi Tara!

I’m so glad to see you back here at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by!

The buses to the parks usually start about 45-60 minutes before the listed Early Entry time and come every 20 minutes or so. But there are a couple of things I like to check when I’m on my vacation, too.

First up, you can ask your "Hey Disney!" device in your resort room. This is one of my kids' favorite parts of our resort room! Not only can you ask the device to tell a joke or story, request items for your room (like a crib or extra towels), and check the weather forecast, but you can also ask it what time the buses will start. This has come in handy when trying to figure out how early we should be at the bus stop in the morning.

Next, I’m a huge fan of checking the My Disney Experience app for bus times. You’ll get access to this feature once you check in, so you won’t be able to see this section yet! But here’s how you’ll find it:

Click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner of the app, then scroll down to click Hotel Reservations. Under your room number, you’ll see a box labeled “See Bus Times.” When you click on that, it will show you when to expect the next bus at your resort and when it will get to the park.

It’s good to note that the bus times listed on the app are estimates. There have been times that we’ve waited longer than expected, and other times when we’ve missed the bus even though we thought we gave ourselves enough time to get to the bus stop! But overall, it’s been really helpful, and it’s a great feature to give you an idea of what to expect.

I hope that helps! If any other questions pop up as you continue your countdown, let us know!
