Welcome to planDisney, Eva! I'm so glad you stopped by. Your
Walt Disney World Resort visit will be here in a flash, so let's look at how
Disability Access Service (DAS) can make your day even more magical.
Guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry to enjoy 30 minutes of morning fun, so I'm happy to hear that's your plan. My first thought is that you may not need to utilize a DAS return time during those first minutes since crowds and wait times are typically low. My tip is to plan on arriving a half hour or so before the early park opening time to make sure you hit the ground running!
And it sounds like you've already registered via video chat for DAS, so no need to stop by
Guest Relations when you arrive. But if you have any issues, they will be able to help you.
I chatted with an early-bird Cast Member named Beverly Paige who said you should be able to start using DAS as soon as you scan in at a theme park, whether during early entry or regular park opening. If you are staying at an eligible deluxe resort, you can also schedule DAS return times during
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. You can check the
five-day calendar for more information about opening and closing times during your visit.
Just to let you know, DAS is not available for
TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park or
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. These are two of my favorite attractions! You can join a complimentary
virtual queue for these rides at 7:00 AM, so I see some alarm-setting in your future!
Eva, I hope your visit is full of magical memories for you and your sweet daughter. Thanks again for allowing
planDisney to help plan your trip.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
