How early can you get on the Disney Wonder before setting sail? Does the ship leave at 4pm or is that just a time to be on ship by? Very excited about first cruise:)

    Hi Connie!
Thanks so much for writing back with more cruise questions!  When you complete your online check-in 75 days before your cruise vacation, you will be able to select a "port arrival" time for your family.  Port arrival times begin at 11:00 and the last window is between 3:00-3:30.  All Guests are asked to be onboard by 3:45, but the ship doesn't actually set sail until 5:00pm.  When you check in at the cruise terminal, you will be assigned a boarding number.  Boarding usually begins around 11:45 or 12:00pm.  It moves very quickly so your crew will be onboard and having fun in no time at all!
I hope my answer helps with your planning, Connie!  If you want to enjoy the ship on the first afternoon, try to pick an earlier port arrival time for your family!
Thanks again for stopping by!  Have a magical day!
