We have an early dinner reservation for SBD at Artist Point and afterwards, a reservation for the fireworks dessert pre-party. Are we allowed to park at Wilderness Lodge with our dining reservation and keep the car parked there while at Magic Kingdom?

Welcome to planDisney, Erika! It’s a pleasure to help you with your upcoming vacation!

Story Book Dining at Artist Point is truly one of the most enchanting character dining experiences at Walt Disney World, especially for fans of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Evil Queen’s dramatic presence is always a highlight, but during my last visit, it was my interaction with Grumpy that had me laughing the most. He certainly lives up to his name!

When it comes to parking, guests with dining reservations at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge are typically allowed to park for up to two hours while enjoying their meal. Upon arrival, just let the security Cast Member know you have a reservation, and they may scan your MagicBand or check your plans in the My Disney Experience app for confirmation. I checked with Guest Services today, and they kindly request that you move your vehicle once your meal is finished.

Since you have the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party after dinner, the best plan is to relocate your car to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) after your meal. It’s a quick five-minute drive, and from there, you can either hop on the Monorail or enjoy a scenic ferry ride over to Magic Kingdom. Both options will be available until an hour after the park closes.

I’m still dreaming about the Mushroom Bisque and Slow-braised Pork Shank from my last visit, but be sure to save room as there will be plenty of sweet treats waiting for you at the dessert party!

Wishing you a practically perfect (and delicious!) evening, Erika! And if you ever need more trip-planning advice, just think of me as your Magic Mirror on the wall. I'm always happy to help!
