Ahoy, Kathleen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The ships will be decked out for the holidays in November when the
Very Merrytime Cruises begin. The Grand Lobby Atrium will be home to a dazzling 24-foot Christmas Tree and festive Disney-themed garland will hang on Decks 3, 4, and 5. Holiday-themed events will be sprinkled throughout the sailings, and the characters will don their adorable holiday attire for select meet and greet appearances. Even
Castaway Cay gets in on the festive fun with its own whimsical holiday touches! When my family enjoyed a Very Merrytime sailing a few years ago, I was able to get some unique holiday photos both on the ship and on the island including one for our Christmas card that year!
If you plan to cruise before Thanksgiving, you may not see the life-sized gingerbread house that is built for the atrium, as it is typically ready for the last week of November. I'm not sure which ship you are considering for your sailing, so I've included all the schedules below.
Disney Magic: November 5~December 23
Disney Wonder: November 10~December 23
Disney Dream: November 7~December 22
Disney Fantasy: November 19~December 24
I'm excited for you to experience a magical holiday sailing, Kathleen. Please write back if you think of any additional questions.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
