    We have an early breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 7:05 am, but the buses don't start early enough for us to get there. Are there any other transportation options from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Contemporary?

    Hi Marilyn,

    There are actually buses that head out to the resorts early to accommodate guests like you with early breakfast reservations. My good friend and former Moms Panelist Bret does a great job of explaining that buses to the Magic Kingdom and Magic Kingdom area resorts (including the Contemporary) actually start running at 6:30 a.m.

    That being said, my suggestion is that you take a cab. Taxis are plentiful in the Disney resorts area. I would call down to the Bell Services desk at your hotel about five to ten minutes before you're ready to leave. They'll arrange to have a cab waiting for you downstairs. The ride to the Contemporary should take about 15 minutes and cost approximately $20. The bus will get you there, but the cab will get you there more quickly and with more control.
