Is it too early to book/plan a trip for April of '10? We really want to go then and I think I saw you can pay off the vacation in installments. So is it too early to book?

    Jamee,

No, it is definitely not too early to start planning your vacation to Disney World! While you probably can't book airfare yet, you can certainly make your reservations for a room at a Disney resort now. The reason why that is useful is you can guarantee getting a room in your preferred resort when April 2010 rolls around. You don't necessarily have to make final decisions about dining plans, ticket options, and other items at this time, but getting that room reserved can give you that cornerstone plan for your vacation.

A good idea that you can also do now is look at the park calendars for April 2009. Take note of what parks take morning and evening Extra Magic Hours now, knowing that this is a good indicator of what they will do next year. Don't focus on the numerical day of the month, but more the day of the week, and the week of the year. So if you are visiting the third week of April in 2010, know that the third week of April 2009 will probably have the same schedule.

    Have a magical vacation!
