How early should I arrive for the Fantasmic show? I have dinner reservations at Boma at 6pm on the night I want to see the show. If I arrive at 7:30 is that enough time?

    Hi Angelica,

Fantasmic runs at different times during the year. Without knowing the dates of your visit, it's impossible to tell you precisely whether your plan will work. However, I can tell you this:

Dinner at Boma should take you about 60 to 75 minutes. Since this is a buffet, you do have a bit of control over the length of your dining. If you make your selections quickly and don't linger, you can make the process go faster. Also, arriving a few minutes early might speed things along.

I'd allot about 45 minutes from travel from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Disney's Hollywood Studios if you're taking Disney's free transportation and about 20 minutes if you're taking a taxi. Then you need to add about 10 minutes to go through security, pass the ticket turnstiles and walk to the Fantasmic theater.

Best case scenario with a 6:00 dinner reservation is arriving at Fantasmic at 7:30, but worse case could be after 8:00. During most of the year, you'll be fine arriving at Fantasmic about an hour prior to show time, but during the busier seasons you may need to arrive an hour and a half before the show to get a seat.

If you'd like to write back with the dates of your travel, we can help you sort this out more exactly. Just let us know.
