Ahoy, Nicki!
What an awesome adventure you have planned for this summer-a magical Mediterranean sailing on the
Disney Magic! Not only will you have some
amazing ports of call to explore with rich history and beautiful scenery, but you have all the
onboard fun to enjoy as well! It will be a practically perfect way to see Europe with a sprinkling of pixie dust to make it an even more memorable and special experience for you!
When it's time to tell your Disney Pals, "See Ya' Real Soon," you'll want to know what to expect upon your return to the Port of Barcelona. The Disney Magic is scheduled to dock by 6:30 a.m. and Disney Cruise Line recommends flights no earlier than 11:30 a.m. If you want to disembark as soon as the ship is cleared, you can choose to carry your own luggage and participate in the Express Walk-Off Service. Specific instructions will be delivered to your stateroom in the days leading up to the end of your journey. Typically, Guests are able to walk-off around 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. but it will all depend on the ship being cleared. You'll want to be waiting in the Grand Lobby Atrium with your luggage in hand at the suggested time so you can move quickly to catch your early flight. The
ground transportation information provided by Disney Cruise Line states that the Barcelona International Airport is about 40 minutes from the port so you'll want to plan travel time and time at the airport to check-in and pass through security.
I hope this helps, Nicki! Good luck with your plans, and please let us know if we can assist you further.
Have a MAGICal day!
Nancy
