Ahoy, Kun!
It is wonderful to hEAR from you again. I get so excited when I start to think about arriving at Disney Cruise Line's beautifully themed terminal at
Port Canaveral. I love all the nautical touches, and whimsical decor that fills the space and having my family's picture taken with one of the
Disney Characters in front of the huge model of the Disney Magic is one of our favorite cruise traditions. You'll be happy to know check-in is a smooth and seamless process at Port Canaveral, and you'll be walking under the golden Mickey ears before you know it.
When you complete your online check-in, you will be asked to select a Port Arrival Time unless you are sailing as a Concierge-level Guest, Platinum
Castaway Club Member or utilizing
Disney Cruise Line ground transfers. In these instances, you will not be asked to select a time, but can arrive any time after the cruise terminal opens, which is usually around 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. If you are arriving on your own, you'll be able to select a time starting at 10:30 a.m. The ship will begin
boarding once it's cleared, so this could be as early as 11:30 a.m. Once you've checked in with a Cast Member, you'll be given a boarding number and will wait until that number is called to head to the gangway.
Kun, if this is your first voyage with Captain Mickey, I do suggest checking in online as soon as your window opens (75 days prior to departure) as some more popular
Port Adventures and
onboard activities will fill up quickly. Enjoy every magical minute of the planning process, and please visit us again soon with any additional questions.
