what is the earliest recommended time for a departing flight at the end of a cruise in the port of Miami

Welcome aboard, David! We're so glad you cruised on in with your question.

Debarkation from a Disney Cruise Line sailing at the Port of Miami may take place as early as 7:00 in the morning. However, the earliest recommended departing flight from Miami International Airport is 11:30 AM.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind here when it comes to debarkation day. You have the option to do an Express Walk-Off, which means you keep your luggage with you the night before debarkation day, and you can leave, with your luggage, beginning as early as 7 AM. There won't be any assistance available, so you'll want to make sure you're able to manage everything you have to get off the ship.

If you opt to place your luggage out the night before, you'll want to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator for debarkation times. Your debarkation time will be based on your dining time, and you'll be provided with instructions on your last evening regarding debarkation day breakfast times and locations. If you have late seating dinner and plan to stay for breakfast in the morning, I might push that flight time to past noon.

Should you end up with a later flight, David, there is a port adventure in Miami you may want to look into. Hop-On Hop-Off Miami is a port adventure on debarkation day where you can store your luggage, hop aboard the bus tour of the highlights of Miami, and then gather your luggage for a trip back to the airport when you're done - included with the cost of the port adventure.

    Wishing you smooth sailing!
