    what is the earliest dvc members can register for the 2016 marathon?

    Hi Michelle!

    Thanks for visiting us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have used my Disney Vacation Club Membership to register early and receive a discount on several runDisney Events. When last year’s Glass Slipper Challenge for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend sold out quickly, I was very thankful for this Member benefit!

    Early registration for Disney Vacation Club Members opened on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at noon, and is still currently open for Members until 8:00 p.m. ET on April 27, 2015. To access the early registration page, you’ll need to sign in to the DVC Member Website. Under the Membership Magic tab at the top of the site, choose Special Offers.  The runDisney offer is about halfway down the page. There you will find the opening and closing dates for early registration for all the upcoming runDisney events, and the link to the registration page. As of this moment, I am looking at the page and there is still room for early registration for the Marathon, Half Marathon, Goofy Race and a Half Challenge and runDisney Kids Races, though this can change quickly. The 5K, 10K, and Dopey Challenge are sold out for early registration. If you wanted one of these sold out events, regular registration opens at noon E.T. on April 28, 2015. If you will be doing regular registration I recommend having all of your information such as shirt size, credit card number, and proof of time ready to go right at noon.
