Ahoy, Timmy!
Welcome to planDisney! Tomorrow, you'll be boarding the beautiful
Disney Wish for your
Bahamian sailing. I know how excited you must be to get this vacation underway! There's so much to look forward to once you embark, including perfectly swirled all-you-care-to-enjoy soft serve ice cream from Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream on Deck 11. I always feel like the vacation has begun once I've enjoyed my first chocolate-and-vanilla swirled cone.
Timmy, when it's time to say "See Ya' Real Soon" to Mickey and the gang, you'll want to take advantage of Express Walk-Off if you are looking to be one of the first Guests off the ship. The timing will depend on when local authorities clear the ship, but the typical window is 7:15-7:30 am. I've seen Guests line up much earlier than that window to be first off, so you'll want to consider that when deciding what you want to do on Friday morning. To participate in Express Walk-Off, you'll need to carry your own suitcases and not use the luggage service on the last night of the cruise. You'll also want to have your
DisneyBand+ or Key to the World card to tap as you leave the ship. Fingers crossed the ship will be cleared quickly, and you'll be heading down the gangway to the terminal in no time.
Soon, you'll be enjoying all that the Disney Wish has to offer, Timmy. Be sure you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded so you can start favoriting all your must-dos once you connect to the DCL-Guest WiFi at the port. Just "heart" everything that interests you, and in case you forget, you'll receive a reminder 15 minutes before it begins. I love that I can check the weather, browse my cruise photos, shipboard balance, chat with other cruisers, and book my next cruise all in the app. It really comes in handy!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. Have the most magical week on the Disney Wish, Timmy!
