what is the earliest you can check in at the art of animation

    Salutations, Stacie.

Welcome to planDisney! Your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the riverbend with less than two months to go! I bet you are eagerly counting down the days in anticipation. I can't wait for you to experience all the excitement of The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival on your trip!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a great choice for your upcoming adventure. My family stayed there on our first trip to Walt Disney World Resort together and appreciated having two bathrooms and a kitchenette in our Family Suite. The immersive storytelling and larger than life Disney character statues throughout the Resort make you feel like you've truly gone under the sea with Ariel and Nemo, into the jungle with Simba, or to Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen. You will love the convenience of having quick access to the Disney Skyliner to soar over to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the mornings. Don't forget to ask for a recreation guide at the Front Desk to see what fun events, like Movies Under the Stars, are taking place during your stay. Plus, you have to take a dive in the largest Resort pool in all of Walt Disney World Resort, The Big Blue Pool!

With so much to offer, I bet you'll be ready to get to your room faster than you can say bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! You can check in to Disney's Art of Animation Resort as soon as you arrive, but keep in mind your room likely won't be ready until after the official check-in time of 3:00 p.m. Not to worry though! If you check in early, you can head to Bell Services to have them hold your luggage until your room is ready. Once it is, you can either pick up your bags from Bell Services yourself or call and have them delivered to your room.

Have you considered utilizing the Direct-to-Room service for your stay? Prior to your arrival, you would need to use the Online Check-In service as early as you want to by selecting "Start Check-In" next to your Resort reservation in your My Disney Experience account from a browser or by selecting "Start Check-In Now" in your Resort reservation in the My Disney Experience App. On the day of your arrival, you'll receive real-time reservation updates, including a notification of when your room is ready, from your My Disney Experience App. Once your room is ready, you'll be notified of your room number and be able to use your app to unlock your door. It's really quite simple to use!

Stacie, I hope you have a wonderful trip that's full of joy, laughter, and lifelong memories. Enjoy every magical moment!

    See ya real soon,
    Alyssa
