Hello there Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney, we're so happy you're visiting us with your Disney World planning question. Disney dining can add so much magic to a vacation! Of course, I'm someone who takes pictures of my food, because I consider delicious meals as some of my favorite memories. With all the choices of themed dining, tasty global cuisine, and even character experience meals offered at Walt Disney World... it's absolutely a highlight of my family's Disney vacations!
The earliest you can book
advance dining reservations at a Disney table service restaurant is 60 days in advance. Given the arrival date you mentioned, you should be able to begin making reservations on August 18, 2025, at 6 a.m. Eastern Time. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort, you'll be able to make reservations for the entire duration of your stay at that time (up to 10 days). If you'll be staying off site, you'll book one day at a time as each date becomes available.
In order to plan and be ready when our reservation window opens, I like to
make a list of our Disney Dining preferences in advance. Pixie-dusted planning can be a lot of the fun! You can check out menus, search by park or resort locations, and then have in mind what restaurants you'd like to try and reserve. Some locations are quite popular and fill up quickly, so you'll want to set your alarm early that day for the best selection! As someone who lives in Mountain Time Zone... I feel your pain on this one. But it's such an exciting day, and will mean your vacation is coming up very soon!
As Chef Gusteau in Ratatouille says, "good food is like music you can taste, color you can smell. There is excellence all around you... you need only to be aware to stop and savor it!" Stephanie, if you'd like any dining recommendations, based on your itinerary or preferences, please be sure to
send me a message at planDisney. I'd love to help!
Bon appétit and have a magical day!
Tami
