DW 9/25-30 with 8, 7, 5, 3yr olds. Is MNSSHP a must see or will they be too tired to be worth it? We are not on a tight budget, but everything does add up and there is so much to do. Is it terribly crowded early? Able to get a good seat for the parade?

Hey Melinda!  Welcome back to the Mom's Panel!  Congratulations on your upcoming Walt DIsney World Vacation!  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite Special Event at Walt DIsney World! Mickey throws the best parties and this one is no exception!  There is nothing better than trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom in your Halloween costumes!  I absolutely love Happy HalloWishes and Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade. I definitely think it is worth the additional party ticket, but also understand your dilemma in deciding if it will be worth it if the younger children are too tired to enjoy the late evening festivities. Traditionally, the dates in September are not nearly as crowded as mid to late October can be. We were able to get a good seat for the parade, but secured our spots approximately 45 minutes prior to the parade start. When we attended two years ago, my twins were five at the time and they fell asleep around 10:00 p.m. in their strollers. I would definitely recommend bringing strollers for the three and five year olds in case they give out earlier than your older two. I would also recommend trying to get an afternoon nap in to help the children last a bit longer that evening.  Follow this link to learn more about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a Magical September Trip, Melinda!
    Happy Planning,
