Going to DW 5/20-5/26 with our 2.5 yr old son. His first time going and we can't wait. We have dinner res. at Boma at 7:05 pm on 5/24 and Fantasmic is at 9 pm. Can we make the 9 showing or too close? This is the only showing we can fit in. Help!!!

    Hi Nancy,

You may be cutting it close. While Boma is a buffet, there is no guarantee you will be seated at 7:05 pm as it is based on other guests there as well. You can go to your Advance Dining Reservation up to 30 minutes early but there is no guarantee you can be seated sooner.

You have to figure dinner is at least an hour which puts you at 8:00 pm. You could then take the Disney transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios. While the buses run every twenty minutes, you could just miss a bus and then be delayed. You could arrange for a taxi to pick you up. You should be at Fantasmic! almost 60 minutes prior as this popular show fills quickly. It does have fireworks, lasers and villians which may scare your son but you know him best.

Remember, if you do go back to Fantasmic! you will need to have the park hopper option on your ticket or you will be charged another day entrance into the park if you were not previously at that park for the day.

Since you do not say where you are staying, you may want to stay at Animal Kingdom after dinner and look at the animals with your son there. Then save Fantasmic! for another trip:)

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
