We are going to be at DW 1st wk of Nov and are trying to decide between Typh Lgn and Blz Bch with 3 yr old 36" girl and 9 yr old 51" boy (loves thrill rides) for one day and can't figure out what would be better. Is it even warm enough then?

    Hi Heather,

Typhoon Lagoon is going to be closed for the whole of November for refurbishments so you won't need to make a choice as Blizzard Beach will be the only water park open during your stay. This is my families favourite though so I would have probably recommended it anyway. There are a huge range of water slides for all the family, if you look at this link HERE you can see all the rides available, make sure you try our favourite family raft ride Team Boat Springs, it's so much fun!

It should be warm enough to go to the water parks in November, my family are planning to visit during our December trip but then we're British so used to the cold!!! What I suggest you do is plan to be at BB in the middle of the day when it'll be warmer!

    Have a great trip,
